first you have only been in the relationship for a month so dont think she is head over heels for you yet. second you have probably treated her better than any other past boyfriend so i congratulate you on that because im the same way. giving time and space will work a little bit but it could back fire on you and she could see it as you pushing her away. a good thing to do would be to encourage her to go out with her friends more often. not with you but just to have some girl time. sometimes they need that. depending on how much money you have, you might give her some money for her and her friends to go to a movie together or spa. i think she would like that

Give the lady some time.
There is a saying 'Once bitten. twice shy'.
She is just picking up the pieces after a bad relationship so she would need a lot of time to heal, the emotional wounds.
If you wait with patience, and be supportive, it would definitely give positive reactions from her side to you.
Be her pillar to lean on.
All the best!!

You've answered your question correctly. Mind you, the girl has been hurt immensely and remember it was a long relationship she was into. It is not like changing one dress for another and that's that. She likes you, that's what she said but I believe she isn't ready to jump into another relationship that soon. Like you said, she may want time to think over and be very certain that she won't be hurt the next time around.

yes giving her time would be the right thing to do, espsecially if she just got out of a bad relationship!.. she needs time to be able to trust a guy again and by you giving her time and space lets her know you really care and that will help her along, an help her heal.

don;t take me advice if you dont think its the right thing to do: i think she acually be better off being with you because she is with another guy instead of the guy she had for 2 years, sooner or later i tihnk she will be completely over him and be with you. and again fi you dont like this idea, dont do it

May be she does not want to be the one to initiate. Tell her how much you care about her and how you feel, may be then she will be encouraged to tell you about her feelings too.

Definitely, it takes time to heal from a broken heart. You do not want to be her rebound, do you?
