Flying saucers are disc shaped object observed in our skies that often appear to be intelligently controlled, and to exhibit extraordinary performance. They are more commonly referred to under the catch-all term of UFO as not all UFOs are saucer shaped.
What are they and where do they come from? This is the "64 thousand dollar question", as there are a number of competing explanations. The one preferred by the mainstream, and especially the science community, is that UFOs have prosaic, natural explanations and are often a case of mistaken identity.
However, many UFO researchers and enthusiasts believe that some of the observed craft are actually the technology of intelligent alien species that have evolved elsewhere in the galaxy, and who are obviously far more advanced than our own species as they have mastered interstellar travel.

The reason for this belief is that many UFOs demonstrate speed and manoeuvring capabilities that no known human aircraft are capable of. This includes the ability to hover completely motionless at very high altitudes, the ability to accelerate from a standstill to very high speed in a split second, the ability to perfrom acute and abrupt turns (such as 90 degree turns) at full speed, and many more.

Are they manned? It's hard to tell, although some observed UFOs have appeared to be the size of footballs, which would rule out a pilot (unless the aliens are tiny!). It's likely that there are both "manned" and unmanned UFOs.

What fuel do they use? One can only speculate, although it's clear that their energy source must be much more advanced than ours, simply because the demands of space travel are so immense. Even their UFOs which fly around in our atmosphere are likely to have very exotic propulsion systems, in order to account for their incredible flight capabilities. The History Channel screened a brilliant 3-part documentary which speculated on the techology behind UFOs, I recommend trying to track it down. It might be on google video or Youtube.

Has one ever crashed? There are certainly many stories about crashed UFOs, the most famous (or infamous) one being Roswell, 1947. If you want to learn about the history of alleged UFO crashes, I recommend reading the book "Majic:Eyes Only" by Ryan Wood (link is below).

UFOs?

Just to start with I do not care if folks believe me or not, it is their choice. However, I know that space vehicles exist because it was my misfortune to have witnessed what other people class as flying saucers Where they come from is a question I simply cannot give you but my experience left me feeling ill and unsettled within myself because it seriously damaged my religious beliefs. If folks from other worlds or dimensions are visiting us, then their technology is way in advanced than ours so this means that we are not unique in the universe and we are not of devine creation. The sighting gave me a feeling of their hostile intention and, unlike what you see in Hollywood movies with its Will Smith heroes and fancy effects, these entities, whoever or whatever they are, could wipe us out biologically without inflicting mass violence on a huge scale and with no personal harm being inflicted upon themselves. Our planet is in deep s- - t anyhow and we have done it to ourselves. Today, as far as I am concerned, folks can think, say and do as they wish because, hypothetically speaking, Jesus may definitely return --------------------------- In a flying saucer, Of course!!!!!

If people knew how they flew, properly, there could have been so a lot greater alien craft around does no longer there? yet anyhow, I heard many cases that saucers use electro-magnetic pulses which bend the atmoshpere around them or some thing like that. i'm no longer likely specific, it quite is purely what I heard.

"Flying Saucers" are UFOs (unidentified flying objects). No one knows where they come from,if they are manned or what fuel they use. There are photos of objects that look like flying saucers in the sky but none have been analysed to be true. The same as objects on the ground that look like UFOs that have crashed but can't be verified.

They may come from US super miltary base, they may come from far far away, than we could imagine, hell knows.

I don't think they use some oil to move, I think it's somekinda superhigh energy source, the same energy what you get from 10 nuke bombs.

And of course they have landed here, once sientists showed a metal what was left from their ship: it was bullet proof, highly flexible, very light and it melts only on the surface of the sun O.o

But that god damn US goverment doesn't alow people to know anything, they always destroy all the documents and any other proofs, They be damned!

They are saucer shaped machines that are capable of sustained flight, they were developed in Canada but they too hard to control so the design was abandoned.

There is no such thing as flying saucers; we humans are the only intelligent life in this vast universe. The visual and physical evidence that we have as such are nothing more than governmental experients that went awry.....

They are alien space craft. They come from F-Prime Alfa 23....well one of it's moons, they are manned and or alienned by aliens called Zorgordians and their fuel source is something called element X85_25Z4. They crash from time to time, but that's classified.
