we dated and i kind of fell for him. he didnt. yet i kept telling him how much i loved him. he said it is better if we stayed as friends. he even told me he wouldnt ruin our friendship by leaving me alone. when i thought practically i made up my mind to move on with a different guy. when i told my friend about my new boyfriend he seemed pretty ok. however, for a while he made fun of my new relationship and told me it wouldnt work. recently i spent more time with my boyfriend, but so that my friend dont take me as a player i talked to him whenever i got time. but last week he totally changed. he suddenly felt offended by my words, stopped answering my calls and even blocked my aim screen name. i am ok with the fact that he is my friend, but what happened to him now? why is he acting like this? is my new relationship making him angry?

he jealous becuase he feels like he lost something. even though he knows that yall are friends, the fact that you no longer falling for him, and found yourself a boyfriend is tearin him up. in a way he feels like he lost something. dudes like to know that a girl likes them, even though they might not like that person. so now that you dont like him no more its botherin him.

He probably found a girlfriend and she does not want him talking to you. Don't worry so much. He wasn't a true friend anyway, if he did not try to support you in your new relationship. You haven't lost anything, he has.

ummm, your new relationship probably isn't angering your friend in the way you want it to anger him. i get the feeling that you still harbour a lot of feelings for this friend, and have to wonder if the new relationship isn't a ploy to make him jealous. even if it isn't the real reason you got involved with this new guy, if your friend believes that you are trying to make him jealous, that could be why he is angry. people generally don't like being manipulated.
