actually it's a step-cousin.. so, no blood relation.. he wants me, he keeps telling me he loves me, but i am engaged to someone & don't want him at all!! he is strictly a friend only.. he keeps calling me and trying to get me to go out with him.. how can i make it clear that i am not interested without hurting his feelings???? i don't understand why he loves me if he knows already that i am engaged and don't want him!!

I'm afraid that you're just going to have to be straight with him. The only way you can put an end to his behavior is by telling him that he has no choice, he either stops doing what he is doing (if he cares about you at all) or you put an end to whatever relationship you already have with him.
And change your behavior when you are around him. Make less eye contact, don't flirt, keep conversation to a minimum, show your fiance more affection when your cousin is around, and just ignore what comments he does make. If he does want some kind of response, you'll just have to say "get over your own ego, find yourself some other girl". Don't be smiling when you say it, be serious. He should soon get the message.

what are some of these people thinking!? Do not have an affair with him, first of all he's still a relative even if its step which is just plain wrong, and second of all your not interested. Its funny because some guys just dont get it no matter how many times you turn them down they'll just keep trying (im currently experiencing this myself) so in your situation I think the best thing to do is to tell him you are not and will never be interested in him in that way, that hes not in love with you and as soon as he comes to that realization he'll get over it and if he still doesnt get it maybe threaten (but not seriously) to tell his mom or whoever that your freaked out because your cousin is in love with you, that should get him to stay clear, hopefully, good luck!

It's actually pretty simple to do and not as complex as your making it. You need to cut off any communication with this guy PERIOD! If he continues calling then he's harassing you. Why are you so concerned with hurting his feelings? This bastard has no respect that you're an engaged woman. He has no respect for you or for your fiancee. F*CK his feelings!
Bottom line..if you TRULY want him out of your hair tell someone about it, since you're so scared to hurt his feelings...Oh no! God forbid!

Some times you just have to hit someone over the head with a brick before they understand you really mean NO when you tell them NO.
Apparently, you are going to have to take the gloves off to convince your step-cousin.
