For my own sake and for the hope that someone in Hollywood Land will see this and remember this for if/when they make a Silver Surfer movie....who was dissapointed that they didn't stick with the true dynamics of the Silver Surfer for the movie (by that I mean why say that he gets his power from the board when according to comics/shows that's not true, why he's still grey when he loses his power when he should have returned to a human like apperance, etc.)?

The "book" in this case, a comic book, will always be better than anything someone puts on screen because your imagination is more powerful and interpretive than anything that a director/actors/special effects can ever emulate.

If you don't want to be disappointed in a movie, the only sure solution is to not read the book/comic book BEFORE you see the movie. Then the let down will occur only after the fact and you can enjoy the movie for what it is/was...the Director's interpretation.

your concerned about that little stuff. how about how silver surfer destroyed galactus att end. when in the comics. Human Torch had a girlfriend who was a female human torch and she aggreed to be galactus's herald instead of silver surfer. in order to save earth.
