they are these little tiny frogs that i got from the store petco and they are called african dwarf frogs and they make the noise and it drives me nuts why are they making that noise????

Yes it is normal, and it is a good sign that they are healthy.

Ever been around a pond at night? The roar of all the frogs, toads, and other critters can be very loud.

Too funny though, it would make a good comedy skit. :-D

That's like asking why people talk and why their voices are so annoying.

Frogs make noise. It's a sign of health and contentment.

You want it to stop? Take them back to petco and do some research on the noises your future pets make before you buy them.

The males will call to signal breeding readiness. If you introduce a few females to them the males will move along in the courting behavior and should stop calling. The other option is to move the tank into a more isolated area.
