I think it's all relative. Depends on your lifestyle and what expenses you have. You could earn $100,000 and have 80% debt and not be happy with your wage, or you could earn $20,000 a year with no debt and be comfortable.

With todays cost of living, no matter where you live (in the USA) I would say the minimum for a family of 4 should be somewhere around $90,000 just to be able to provide for them
$125,000 for a family of 4 can be comfortable and anything more should be "banked" for the future.

At least 50 grand. Maybe more, depending on where you live. It's a good living in my area, but probably not in some place like LA or NYC.

It depends on your need. We all look for good pay to meet our basic and luxury needs. But at times we cannot get both so we look forward to get good salary to maintain our own lifestyle.

That depends on how you want to live, and where you live. So I would say 55,000 to120,000 a year

40K would put me right where I want to be, with my hubby's salary it would support us quite comfortably
Keep in mind that I live in Georgia
