Just the amount taken during surgery. Unless you are eating healthier, you may gain a little because your activities are restricted for a few weeks after surgery.

You probably can gain weight after a Breast reduction due to limits in your activity. Before my surgery I worked seven days a week and exercised regularly. After my surgery I couldn't do any exercise for about 4 weeks so I put on 5 kilograms.
After 5 weeks I began jogging and lost the 5 kilos very quickly, plus an extra 5 due to the fact that my breasts are now so small I can exercise properly-- YAY!!
I also lost 1.3 kilograms of weight from my breasts during the op

THe only weight loss that occurs is the weight from your breasts. Some women lose up to 5 lbs, depending on how much reduction was done. There is no other body weight loss though.

I had this done about 3 years ago, and the only weigh I lost was the nearly two lbs. of tissue removed. I experienced no weight gain at all.

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
