Names will be a lot like they are now but will probably include more of an ethnic mix.
For the president gotta be Al Franken III.
Good Luck

I've found the way names usually go is by a historical era. For instance, I went to college with a guy named Alonzo, and that was my great-grandfather's name. William, Thomas, John, James, and Mary have withstood the ages as far as first names. But I think the names in the future will have numbers attached--like Reno Seven (and maybe pertain to the 7th generation where the name Reno was used in his family.) As for a strong leading character name, use a 1 syllable first name, and a 2 syllable last name. The main character in a story I've been working on is called Jack Kurtiss, another is Doug Petty, and yet a third is Nick Sanders. You get my drift??
The website www.writesf.com/08_Lesson_07_Perils.html
says "when naming aliens or futuristic humans, make up names to your heart's content but make them PRONOUNCEABLE." If you can't say the name, neither can your readers. :)

Although I think names will most likely be much the same as they are now, I found when I was writing short stories with more fantasy themes I would check out maps of star constellations and use names of stars with maybe a slight change in spelling. I also looked at some atlases and used some place names, for example one character I had was named Japura-Kiowa which I think are both locations in Brazil.

Right now, goofy names are in vogue. In the future, maybe other goofy names, but not the ones popular now. You could go two ways. Make up some weird names or go with the classics, e.g. James and Mary. As you know, names have meanings. A macho character might be Tom, which means male, for example. Liberal president? Adlai Stevenson IX.

President Kim L Suk
No one can tell you, even with the wildest guess, what the favorite names will be in 2086. Megan and Jeffrey are in style now. People subconsciously follow the crowd and will use what ever name seems to sound good at the time a name is wanted.

Names would be he same as now. Except for the president, make it something that's different. Not like John Smith. Maybe an Asian name or African name or a woman's name.

Too make your story more gripping and futuristic, why not use names that sound unusual, with a few normal names thrown in as well?
Jaman, Nabur, Xyla, Focolia, Magenta, Brotom, Hyalin.
The prez could be Jaman Darcollo.

I'd imagine they'd be really different.
Girls could be: Luxa, Celexte, Arixa, Lini, Gen, Persipony
Boys could be: Lumos, Berch, Espeon, Reno
And the president... Ephraim, Alder, Coron
Sorry if you don't like them. Good luck on your story!
