Just curious... how would you react if your boyfriend of a year tells you his past girlfriends (more than one) have had abortions, when it was his child?
Not in terms of the fact it was an abortion... but just more than one and that he only told you after a year of being together, and ages of being really close

He said that they were all girlfriends (not one nighters).. and one didnt even tell him until much later. He is great in every way but I was shocked cos it was unexpected.. wondering if how i react is fiar.

Yeah... he didnt dump the girls after. He said he would stand by the one who did tell him. I'm just shocked and possibly over reacted towards him.

oooh.....well that's pretty irresponsible he was having unprotected sex...but then again I'd say that's all behind us. I would just use protection every time after hearing that.

I think you have some right to be upset and maybe her reasons are not good enough for you but if she felt like it was going to be a bad idea then have an open mind to that, even though it is a wrong thing to do every one and everything has a reason, think about it. You do need some time to understand but get an understanding of how she feels its not an easy thing to do so cut her some slack, i would say give it time and maybe you'll have a better understanding, good luck to you.

Dear friend, I would be interested to know how he felt about these abortions. I am against abortion, but for forgiveness. Is he sorry, does he care, is he proud of the abortions? Rachel's Vineyard is an abortion recovery group and there are others out there. Take good Care. Runner

I probably wouldn't care all that much considering any decision to have an abortion is that of the person impregnated and nobody elses. It might weird me out that there were numerous girls...how many are we talking? any more than 3 and there's a red flag going up. I would tell him that I was trying the whole time he was telling that story to tell him that I was pregnant and see what his reaction was.

Oh my...sounds like your man must be very irresponsible and heartless. Especially to have that happen more than once that is awful. I mean obviously he doesnt have any self control either. I would be very upset and horrified and I would be very careful not to get pregnant...because he will probably want you to get an abortion as well. WHAT A DOG....get away quick while you can!

i would separate from him for a week and then decide wither you really want to be with him . Something is wrong if he keeps getting girls pregnant and i would also get on birth control asap and get tested for HPV due to him having sex with pregnant women and that is when HPV becomes active in the female body due to having a low immune system .

He doesn't want to support a child, and dumps his girlfriends,
as soon as they become pregnant, and he has gotten them to abort the fetus. Hummmmm................ I'd dump him!
Sounds too inhuman to me! You could just use him, use good birth control, and seriously date someone else!
By the time he grows up, he'll be 95!

Kick him to the curb!! How can you count on this young man to stand by you when he has repeatedly shirked his responsibilities in the WORST way!!! Any one can make a mistake, but to make the same mistake repeatedly is a pattern of behavior, not a mistake.

Ok..he cant be such a great guy if he's gotten those girls pregnant and then made them kill their child. Dump him before he does the same to you...how dumb do you have to be not to see that?

does this have something to do with HIM tell those girls to have an abortion? if it is then he is/was not a real man because he didn't want to take responsibility of what happened!!! but you won't know because he won't tell you, because he doesn't want to look bad. ask him if you were prego with his baby right now what would he think.....
