Licked a mineral lick for cows.. When I was about 5 I remember asking why the cows were licking it. And was told they found it tasty. But it wasn't for humans. My dad said don't lick it. So I had to find out for my self... To this day I don't like salt....

When I was 7 we moved to a new house in Colorado. The first day my father told me not to go down stairs. Well, that's the first thing I think I did and was I very very sorry. There were at least 50 tarantula's in one of the back rooms and I froze and screamed my little head off. I remember my father picking me up, sorta throwing down the hall and as I looked back he was hitting them with his shoes. One walked right up to him. I have been not so fond of any kind of spider all my life and I bet that is why.

You realize how limited your answers are going to be now that you said nothing perverted or illegal. Example, parents told me not to smoke, I smoked. I was 16. That technically is illegal. So since I can't say illegal or perverted I'm going to have to reach here. Okay, don't leave your crayons out. I left my crayons out. They melted. The carpet was ruined.

Well, My friend was sleeping over and my mom said not to jump on the bed because I was too big and would probably break it. 5 minutes later, I decided to jump on the bed and guess what happened? Yep, you guessed it, I broke one of the wood panels under the bed! Good thing we live close to Lowes!!

My parents were freaks and had freakish ideals. I remember at 35 years old visiting my mother. She says "go ahead and make you a sandwich" So i proceeded to dive into her ice box and dug out mayo, bread, luncheon meat and turned around and said "Look mom I have 4 slices of meat on my sandwich" Mother never let me put more than one slice on all my life as a child. Now as an adult I never put less than 4 slices of bologna or something.

Never try looking directly into the sun. I used to see how long I could hold my eyes wide open and look at glaringly bright sun. Maybe that's why I'm practically blind now. Hmmm...

I didn't run right out and do it but, my dad told us ,don't trust anyone, and I did ,what a mistake that is. Dad sure knew what he was talking about. If you don't believe that ,then you are not old enough yet, you will understand some day.

My dad always told me never to borrow money to someone if you couldn't afford to lose it. Of course I borrowed out money that I couldn't afford to and learned a tough lesson. Actually, two lessons! My dad was a pretty smart guy being one of them!

All those bad things. Smoking, drinking and then a little pot.
None of it ever eventuated into anything bad or a life long habit.
I was one of those kids who had to learn from mistakes myself.
