I would love to agree with you......but im not sure, if there is a mission in life then im gonna spend my entire life finding it, but then again sometimes i think I already know what it is....I love helping people, putting a smile on others face, brings a smile to my face........maybe my mission is to help others.........im sure everyone knows their mission in life, you just need the eyes to see and the heart to feel, and then you'll believe that you were put on this earth for a reason.......

The question really boils down to whether our life is ours or not...... I prefer to believe it is ours and it is up to each of us what mission, if at all, one would choose to set for the life. Even if one believes that the life is a gift from God, the same God has also granted a freewill precisely to choose one's own unique mission in life, which can as well be chosen as a zero mission.

Agreed! I just can't believe that I was born into this world without doing something significant (no matter how small in the eyes of many) for one or more people, to make a dent in society, to mark a spot and make it all beneficial for someone. This is what I think of everyone alive and those before us ...... There has got to be more meaning to life than just work, eat, sleep, p!$$ and pooh!

yep!
i exist to eat good foods, sleep in a nice house, piss and pooh (yeah) for the mission of providing carbon dioxide for the plants, using oxygen so the world won't be so full of it, providing food for the germs so they could go on with their mission also (which mission i don't know okay)
i exist to go to school, work, and socialize for the mission of having to be able to eat, sleep, piss and pooh!
whatever it is, yeah, i exist to accomplish a mission!

Your mission on earth is to keep your self well and climb on top of the heap to be the best (evolution/survival of the fittest) so you can reproduce. If there is a mission, that is it.
