Well, he wasn't all there during his presidency either, so what do you expect? He should have stuck to building houses for the poor. He had been out of the public eye so long, I think people had forgotten what a moron he is. Whenever he opens his mouth, he says something stupid.

The Nobel Prize isn't very prestigious. The committee isn't exactly the most respectable crew.
Other dubious past recipiants have included Arch-Terrorist Yasser Aarafat, and Kofi "Oil-for-Food" Annan. Carter fits right in with that group.

Carter was the worst president of the Twentieth Century and he's proving himself to be the worst ex-president of all time. I think that he knows how bad he was when he was in the White House and is trying, very unsuccessfully, to soften his legacy. The Nobel Peace Prize has become very political and is often given to those who condemn the United States.

He was the only President (of the seven I served under) who could not play Poker. His nominee for the post of Director of Central Intelligence, Admiral Stansfield Turner, told the cognizant Senate committee that "Jimmy Carter was the worst poker-playing plebe in the history of the U.
S. Naval Academy".

Jimmy Carter won the Nobel Prize because he made anti American statements.
The Nobel Prize has become a politicized joke. They gave one to the terrorist Yassar Arafat as well. Why not give to a guy who is responsible for the rise of Islamofascism,

'Ol Jimmy is an anti-semetic loser who put this, the greatest nation on earth into one hell of a mess during his term. He wants to take people's eyes off the ball (of course I'm refering to the war on terror). After all it makes sense, his stupidity and hand in the matter is obvious. As Jimmy kicked out the former shah of Iran, terrorism began to flare up. He is the worst president ever and deserves any suffering that comes his way.

I suggest you read the book. He doesn't back Hamas at all (they're terrorists!); he simply confronts the often-held American idea that Israel is blameless and that the Palestinians are at fault for everything. (Note that in much of the rest of the world, the situation is exactly the reverse -- they're BOTH ridiculous).
Edit: The worst President of the 20th Century? Have you *heard* of Herbert Hoover? Or maybe Richard Nixon?

Carter is one of the world's biggest Jew haters. Hitler would have embraced him dearly and he's a rotten skunk, worse than Clinton and that's pretty bad.
I wish that whoever invented the Nobel prize (probably some liberal Socialist) would get the prize busted over their head, like on wrestling. Didn't that lunatic fat porker hypocrite Al Gore also receive it.?
