it is very rare for someone to be born with blond hair and blue or green eyes, or even white skin.

Yes, it usually takes to white people of Northern European descent to make a baby with pale skin/light colored hair & light eyes.

Yes. I'm not sure about 'white skin' (freckles are recessive) but the rest definitely are.

Recessive doesn't mean the genes permanently disappear!

Look at Lisa Ray a famous actress/model- her father is Indian (from India) and mother Polish - http://www.askmen.com/women/celeb_profiles_actress/17_lisa_ray.html - she does have green/hazel eyes

Look at Norah Jones - her father is Ravi Shankar, that Indian Sitar maestro, mother Italian-American - look at her - such an attractive brunette
