Some really good bread (pugliese or flavored focaccia) A selection of sliced salami's Allouette cheese spread (choose your flavor) a nice red wine (I'm a cabernet fan) A good apple, pear or nectarine (in season) A gourmet chocolate bar I'd choose all of these things because they're delicious, they don't require an ice chest (a little compact freezer gel pack will keep them cool enough,) the only dishes needed are wine glasses, a cork screw and a spreader for the cheese, oh, and these items don't squish easily either. Hmmm, who to share it with??? Since I'm bringing wine it definitely has to be an adult. I'd have fun on this kind of picnic with my husband, or close friends or even my sisters...

Oh well i did have some Fried Chicken, and my Grandma's famous Blueberry pie. But it's all gone now.

mmm wraps of different kinds, grilled chicken, avocado and salsa ones; hot dog with relish, cheese and ketchup, mustard ones; some lobster rolls and COLD beer :)
