i see the stuff on tv is it true?

In Iraq, just like the rest of the Middle East, there is virtually no middle ground. We either win and succeed in stabilizing Iraq, or we fail. There is no other option. As I see the situation now, we have basically lost, if only because we have not been able to bring about any sort of normalcy to life there.
Yes, our troops are doing the best they can and they are holding their ground against continuous attacks by (in my opinion) absolutely crazy groups with insane ideologies, but that is not enough.
So yes, in short, we are losing the war in Iraq.

It's hard to say we are losing if we aren't sure what we are trying to accomplish.

Without clearly defined goals we are wasting our time and resources.

You have to ask yourself (and George Bush) what would define victory or defeat in Iraq.
