Hi!
*I ride a sportbike to work pretty much everyday of the year.
*It's WAY seductive, with regard speed, so I've got to keep a handle on the desire to "cut loose" on an open stretch of highway.
Unfortunately for most of the responses above, the greatest danger isn't tickets/increased insurance costs:
*The number one thing why people shouldn't speed is the unbelievably gruesome, drawn out, painful death to be had at the hands of speeders.
*I teach driver education, here in Sacto., CA.
**There are enough traffic deaths among JUST TEENAGERS here to warrant our own LOCAL version of "Red Asphalt" (that gory driver ed. flick about people killed/ dying in auto accidents).
**I even recognized some of the cops interviewed on the film (local workout acquaintances, etc.).
**A local former coroner's office tech even commented on a local radio station that it's unbelievable how often the victims of car accidents tend to be absolutely the grossest, most mangled corpses to arrive in his office (and the ones to suffer the most horrible, lingering deaths) were the car accident victims.
I seriously doubt that any of these people got behind the wheel to die a gruesome death when they decided to "speed".
Oh well, ...

NO I'm scared of cars and driving.
And if you drive fast you obviously have no respect for life. What if a kid walks out on the road and you can't stop because you're speeding. Guilty much?
I'm going for a driving lesson this afternoon and i'm 21 heh. Sad hey!
wish me luck.

Yeah i love to, but usually don't. theres always that fear of getting a ticket, so i drive about 5 over the speed limit. Going fast is a major adrenaline rush for me.

For some, this is the texture of a effectual motor vehicle, for others this is the means to cope with an motor vehicle nicely at velocity. There are hazards in many endeavors that human beings work together in, like sky diving. the two they verify the possibility and deem it appropriate, or they function below the phantasm tht there is not any probability.

Not anymore--older and wiser.
Who wants to get caught speeding and pay a heavy traffic fine not to mention hefty increase in auto insurance.
We all think we can maintain control of our car if we drive fast and weather conditions are good, but, you never know.
Accidents can and do happen resulting in serious injury and death.
