I heard some trash about this on a radio talk show last week and I thought that was extremely rude and shallow.
I accept and respect him because he truly loves his children and he honors and respects his wife. He has a beautiful family.
If he wanted a white wife he would've married one.
Why are some bothered by it?

Barack has a white mother and even if he had a white wife, he still wouldn't be accepted by Racist America.

Do not bother of what Barack Obama's wife black or white.He will be more accepted or not depend on his capability and what is his strategies to make America better than now under Bush's administration..Barack himself is a mixed man his mother is white lady and his father is black.and his step father is an Indonesian.muslim.In his childhood he was a muslim because he learned at Jakarta's primary school.I think now he is a christian. although his mother converted her religion into Islam.

A black man in power who is married to a non black woman is looked down upon, in the black community.
It just is.....from my experience, most black women see it as trashy because of the reasons most men choose to exclude black women, who are just as educated
Lets just say that if Obama was married to a white woman he would be hurting on some votes.

White Flour response proved why Racism and Distrust continues. It's unfortunate but true, when they don't get their way they're quick to use the "N" word, which shows there insecurity and ignorance. I'm glad Obama married a black woman, it proves that he has strength and wisdom.

I don't know what they meant by "more accepted", Barack Obama is accepted by people of all races, not just Blacks. And I have to agree with you , if he wanted to marry a White woman he would've, but that should have nothing to do with whether he is accepted or not.

I don't really care that he has a black wife.It would probably make some people feel more uncomfortable if he was married to a white woman though.
