The only problem is, I already have an agent with a different agency, under contract to sell my work. This doesn't make since to me at all, but I am really depressed about this!!!

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is like a broken winged bird
that cannot fly.

No way! Never! There is a book called "The Confederacy Of Dunces" (I'm sorry, but I'm tired and I've forgotten the author's full name) anyway he wrote this brilliant book and kept getting rejection after rejection after rejection. He was so depressed he actually killed himself. (I know part of it was about his book being rejected but there could be other factors involved that I don't know about at all) In any case, after that, his mother went to every publishing agency and finally one bought it, and it's been a classic for YEARS. Never ever give up on your dreams! And just remember, you still have your other agency to fall back on!

brokers won't touch something this is already printed (if it quite is a superb employer) niether will they placed up issues that have been placed on the internet. Synopsis's is advantageous yet once you upload chapters then no. additionally with self-publishing you have doomed your self. Your e book isn't getting everywhere so which you write some thing else and attitude an Agent. they desire to understand no rely in case you have any matrerial printed, then they desire to understand no rely if it bought. Yours has no longer, they ask your self why and wont settle on your paintings. you would be able to desire to ask why your paintings hasn't bought. Self-Publishing could make or smash you and intensely in many cases it breaks you, now you will conflict to placed up something which includes your historic previous. i won't be in a position to urge people adequate to ascertain each angel of Publishing and in my undemanding opinion avert Self-publishing. Sorry to furnish you purely undesirable information, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is not your e book that wont be oftentimes taking place yet you besides. i won't be in a position to even inform you what to do and you will no longer get out of it i'm afraid. i'm no longer an author myself I paintings for the 'dark element', people should not be so fearful of brokers we don't chew that arduous.

Even the best unknown writers must go through many rejections from publishers before they find one. I'm sure you will. Don't take it personally; the publishers have reasons for not accepting works like they may only deal with certain types of writing like self help books.

Look writing a book and trying to get it published is alot like being an actor and auditioning for movie roles...
Most actors audition 20 times before landing even a "bit part" in a movie.
So, keep your chin up, submit to more publishers and keep writing.
Use all that pent up frustration and angst to write with.
Being "depressed" is not going to get you published.
If you feel that your current agent isn't repping your Book right..get pissed and get another one.
USE that Passion

You know better... almost all manuscripts get rejected, so don't worry about it. Besides, you have an agency, so be thrilled, you're a million steps ahead of most people including me, I still need to finish my book but I'm so critical of my work. It just kills me inside to think I'll be rejected but I know I will be. So cheer up okay (:

Not at all. Writers get rejection letters all the time. Have you ever thought of self publishing? Hang in there and don't give up.

No way! Don't stress it at all, just keep trying. You know Sylvester Stallone's Rocky got rejected from a bunch of film production companies before it was finally picked up and was a huge hit!
