Invest a few bucks on better RAM. This will help the game run so much better. I suggest Newegg.com because they have excellent prices and quality products.

You need more Ram for one thing. Most of the games require at least 512mb or better. Your processor is a little slow but you can compensate by turning down the graphics within the game. You should also have a comparable graphics card. 128 meg graphics card is good and WoW like nvidia the best. The problem I had upgrading my grpahics card on my hp was the power supply. It wasn't powerful enought to support the graphics card and hp does not use standard sized power supplies. I had to buy a larger power supply and take the front off the computer and let the disc drives stick out a little in order to fit the power supply in. Go to www.blizzrard.com and see what the system requirements are for the game.

You will need more Ram. Your system uses PC2100 memory, you can get PC2700 or PC3200 as these are backward compatible with PC2100 systems. You will also need a semi-good video card for the AGP slot you have. You can check out Newegg.com for both these types of components.
To be honest though, your computer is old and out of date, it isn't worth throwing alot of money into the outdated platform.

Two things:
1) Add more RAM. It appears your system has 256mb total with 32mb being subtracted for shared video memory. I would add another 512mb if you can.
2) Get a real video card- the Radeon X1650 Pro is available in AGP for around $85
With those two changes you'll be fine for WoW. Your total cost - around $130
Good luck!

the lowest I have been able to run world of warcraft on is 700 mhz with 512 mg of ram and 128 video card but that was pushing it. I would upgrade your memory to 512 and a 128 video card.

Easy my man, you need more RAM, right now your 256 is like molasses. buy a 1 gig Stick. Plan on spending a $100.
When your ready to do so simply open your computer up look at your stick and should say something like pc2700,pc2300, whatever go to store look for 1 gig stick with whatever pin you have like pc2700. If you have dell go to Dell Website and find out exactly what you have by typing in your model number, hell if you've got time give them a ring and bs with the guy.

well first of all, you'll want to get some more ram. Do some research on ram compatibility, and you can buy it for cheap at newegg.com
Also consider getting a new processor, prefferably 2.0ghz+
and you probably also want to get a new graphics card.
you know what, I think you're better off getting a new computer xD

You meet the minimum requirements with the current processor size, though you really should consider adding more memory, World of Warcraft is a very graphics intensive program. Here is a link to memory that is supported by your computer, you can either add one of these modules to raise your memory total, or if you choose to add 2, you will have to take out your existing memory module as your motherboard will only accept a total of 2gigs of memory. Since you list your system memory total as 224mg currently, that also leads me to believe that you are using onboard video graphics with shared memory coming out of your total system memory with an allotment of 32mgs going to your video. You should also consider adding a graphics card with at least 128mgs of dedicated video memory, though 256mgs or more will drastically improve your game play experience. Here is the link to the memory as I stated: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1071018&CatId=840 . As for a link to a compatible video card try this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2743727&CatId=934
