Most child actor's have actually been working since they were toddlers or even younger. Seriously, they've paid their dues and finally have some success before they enter those awkward years of puberty. They were cute, precocious kids to begin with, most have always been small or very young looking for their age and are really older than they appear, and have no problem being total professionals when the time comes to work. It takes training and discipline and yes you need classes. You also need good grades. These kids that you see on TV are either home schooled or need permission from their teacher and principal to get a work permit and that can be denied if your grades and attendance are not good.
It's hard in the sense that there's a lot expected of you for one so young. You have 3 hours a day to get your required school work done, mostly on your own. There is a 'teacher' there, but it's usually a glorified babysitter with general teaching credentials who often has no idea how to do the math that you're doing or how to help you with your History project. Some are great and really try to be helpful though. In addition of course you have lines to memorize and even at the end of your day and you're tired and worn out, you have to have the ability to sit up, look wide eyed and bushy tailed and say your lines for 43 takes each time like it was the first time. You may get it right every time, but the boom may be in the shot, there may be a hair in the gate, something that has nothing to do with you could go wrong and you could end up doing it 43 times and you can't really complain lest they think 'oh great, the kids a complainer' OK, I'm rambling, but you get the point?
Anyway, yes it can be hard so if/when you do this it does take training, it is hard work, and if you want it be prepared, but GO FOR IT!
Good luck!

You should have acting lessons. You can't just say oh I think today I'm going to be an actor. Experience does help. Depending on what the experience is. They want someone who knows the business. And you need an agent to book you for auditions. (unless their open call.) I hope this helps

It's really easy. No classes needed. You just tell them you want to be on TV and movies and they put you in them right away. They'll even fly you out for free if you don't live in L.A. Out of any kid I've ever seen post here you are the most clueless. Go back to your video games and junk food. And I read your other questions. You can't lose 90 pounds in six months either. You need to face reality. And anyone who thinks I'm being harsh, he is 15 and is not a little kid and should know better.

One must have started, acting in television acting, at ayoung age, such as working on one of the Disney television programs.
You need acting lessons. If your school has a drama department, join it.
