i am still young 20 years old but it seems that, when i was younger i had thses goal but i did not see how much the challanges would cost me and how much i would have to scrafice for my goals that i had to fine tune my goals, it seems as if the more i get older the more things that are in the way of doing what i want to do, i am not saying this is a bad thing but its something i have noticed.
and i also get realistic about friends to instead of saying friends forever i now say lets take it one day at a time, i am more hesitant to say that i love u now and will only say it if i mean it, do u think the older u get the less optimistic u get and the less realistic u get about your goal and who u are as a person

Things change as we get older and change itself is inevitable, like a boxer we have to roll with the punches and accept that there are trials and disappointments in life as well as victories and success.
Two things come into play more and more as we get older and they are Experience of life and the Wisdom to work with it, no one is static and life can change from moment to moment and if we are in control of the changes then things are fine, but if change is forced upon us then we need the wisdom to know that there is a season for everything under Heaven.
One of the realities of getting older too is that while we believed in our youth that we were in control and the world belonged to and revolved around us it is quite the opposite, we will find that control comes from other sources and we are only a small piece of something much bigger than ourselves.
It is all to easy to become fatalistic as we get older but the person with wisdom and life experience knows life is life and we pass this way only once so make the very best of your life.

As you take on more adult responsibilities, there is more sacrifice to achieve your goals. You need to make sure your goals are achievable, have a timeline type of plan to keep you on course and balance that part of your life with whatever helps you relax and have fun.
I've found that an attitude of "idealistic realism" works for me. Shoot for the ideal but be realistic about what it will take and your willingness to sacrifice what's needed to achieve it.
And, never loose your sense of playfulness and wonder...you will need both as you grow older.

I am 39 and what you are describing is nothing more than growing up. Things cannot remain the same, nor should they. You will find relationships and your views of the world around you changing. Often it changes so slowly you do not realize it has happened, and then one day like you described something or everything has changed. It does not have to be a bad thing.....things just get different.
Peace.
