Am i the only one that finds it hilarious whenever the ideologues on the left exploit religious morality as a compass for their political agenda, such as socialized health care programs, and Global Warming. i.e Michael Moore saying "we shouldn't really call it socialized medicine, we should call it Christianized Medicine". convenient.... this coming from a slanderer who dedicates his life to defame his own country by using misleading video editing and lies for his propaganda films that target the young, uninformed...and easily manipulated.I'd like to know what religious doctrine he reads himself to sleep at night that made him become so evangelical and Christ like... its probably the same doctrine that says that its "political incorrect" for a privately owned retailer to wish "Merry Christmas" to people... yes the selective Church of the left in its many forms... this is merely one example.. but im wondering if others feel the same way on this...

Michael Moore is pretty much an idiot with no credibility. And this is coming from a left-leaning liberatarian. But the problem is, religion really doesnt influence our government, but the government protects everyone in the country, and everyone in the country has a right to their own set of beliefs and values. Infringing upon the rights of others is unconstitutional and, if I may say so myself, immoral.

Hypocrisy in religion is nothing new. Judas was an excellent example and it continues today. Please don't blame religion for this. Those politicians that say you cannot mix religion and politics have trouble following the rules of order or anything else for that matter. It takes a special type of personality to be a politician. The same kinds of personalities can also be found in jails, prisons and at the head of some churches.

first of all paying training with tax funds isn't an infringement of the organization clause via definition. Now some will argue that it quite is as a results of fact it quite is a non secular college. regrettably, that isn't what the organization clause is approximately. the 1st modification to the U. S. shape states: "Congress shall make no regulation respecting a company of religion, or prohibiting the loose workout thereof; ...." as long as a results of fact the training vouchers are used to permit the scholar to goto ANY non secular subsidized college, i.e. Jewish, Muslim or the different faith, there is not any longer organization of religion. maximum of you're arguing that as a results of fact we elected a president this is Christian then Christianity would desire to be the state faith? incorrect. Now if the president or congress or the very suited courtroom makes use of tax funds to construct a sparkling government construction and easily permitting a definite non secular team to apply it, then this is a contravention of the organization clause. Secular liberals will argue against vouchers for one reason, they understand the thank you to spend your funds greater advantageous than you do. as a consequence better government, greater taxes, much less freedom. the priority with maximum college districts isn't the shortcoming of money, however the lack to get the funds to the place it needs to be. lots of the time funds is spent on each thing yet getting scholar knowledgeable, like overhead for directors to over rule the teachers. the only thank you to get public faculties to be academically aggressive is to FAIL pupils that isn't be in a position to bypass. someway it has replace right into a perfect to bypass and graduate from college, so there is not any incentive for the scholar to paintings hard and learn. as properly if i'm in worry of failing I wager they'll decrease the standards, returned!

I think that eveyone uses religion to benefit their argument. And I feel it is wrong.

The Bible can be interpreted in many different ways. If 100 people read it cover to cover and then tell you what it is about, you will get 100 different answers. That is a fact.

My grandfather used to say that if someone wanted to read the dirtiest book ever written, all they had to do was read the bible. It is all in the interpretation.

What am I saying? Basically, if someone throws a religious quote or some other thing into their "argument", I immediately disregard it. One passage in the bible can mean different things to different people, and isn't really a good thing to use as a reference.
