FUNimation Entertainment (previously known as FUNimation Productions) is an American entertainment company formed by Gen Fukunaga in the early 1990s to produce, merchandise and distribute anime and other entertainment properties in the United States and international markets. On May 11, 2005, FUNimation was acquired by Navarre Corporation (NASDAQ: NAVR) and is now a subsidiary business unit. FUNimation is headquartered in North Richland Hills, Texas, near Fort Worth, occupying one and a half floors of a four story office building. However it is relocating to Flower Mound, Texas in October 2007.

Like someone says it is the cancer in animation since they literally butch japanese animation with stupid english opening themes of such shows as DragonballGTZ and Yu Yu Hakusho to name a few..

I'm not going to go into what the others have, But basically, Funimation is a company that changes foreign anime into English. I personally hate all dubbed anime, go watch the subbed versions, you get to hear it how it originally sounded

FUNimation are the best dub company out of the two (I refuse to call 4KIDS a dub company along side Viz and Funi! ) I'm going with Funi on this mostly because they highly treat their fans (well, around the US anyways), and also put up free subbed episodes on their site to watch to their fans liking. And next would be easily Viz Media And last, well there is no last. I still stand with what I said about 4crap. >:[

there's a funimation channel, that's run by funimation entertainment, just like the anime network is run by adv. you can go to http://www.funimationchannel.com and go to the "get it" heading to see if it's available in your area. right now it's on cable on demand and dish network in most areas. i'm not sure how much it costs, but i know it shows the anime funimation entertainment distributes like fruits basket, negima, baki the grappler, spiral and kiddy grade.
