everyone tell's me that i'm freakishly skinny, and i agree. and my doctors always tell me i'm underweight. i dont have an eating problem, but my migrain meds make me not eat as much. but it works. so i stay on it. and i eat healthy things, i'm not saying i dont eat my share of junk food tho. but my question is: exactly how underweight am i in all of your oppinions? I'm 15, gona be 16 soon. 5"5' , about 95 lbs.
according to all of you, how underweight am i? a lot or a little?

according to you body mass index, you need to put on about 11 pounds. I wouldn't worry too much though, as long a you are eating healthy foods and plenty of them. I'm almost 6 ft and i weigh 60 kg (132lbs), I'm very underweight for my height, but I eat heaps, I just have a very fast metabolism, my doctor says i'm healthy, and i don't look underweight. I love to exercise (play tennis, rollerblade), I just love sport, so i don't put on weight.

Well, first you should ask your doctor what weight he would like you to be. But since your asking now, I would say you're not too underweight, but you should be heavier. For your age and height, you should be between 115 and 120. If you want to gain weight, make sure it's in a healthy way. Try building muscle by doing cardio such as running, swimming, biking, or just dancing. Good luck!

I know you said your medicine takes away your appetite, but maybe you should try more than 3 meals a day? Eat your three main meals, but then try to large meal portioned snacks twice or so a day.
Maybe you should consider going to a dietician. Being underweigh carries risks too, you should try to be a healthy weight.

When I was 15, I weighed 95 lbs. I was 5'5" too. I wore a size zero in all my clothes, no petites.
I am 50 now, and let's say, I weigh more than that now. I am no longer a size zero, either.
But my daughter weighs 90 lbs., and she's a size zero . . . .
. . . don't worry about your weight. Exercise, eat healthy, and enjoy life.

I think you should at least be 110-115 pounds at the minimum.

you can check your Body Mass Index (BMI) on the internet to see how under/overweight you are. dont worry about being under weight too much b/c most girls wish they were.
