yes.. crazy as it may sound.. they are my babies!!!! I'm their mommy! and i love em'!!!!!!!!!
BTW... last night my hubby 2 be told me hat there have been an terrible storm and he went down and stayed with them as the dogs were terrified and crying...... now isn't that lovely???

I don't even consider myself a family member! I am single, and living alone, so I am not a family! But, my two cats are the closest thing to family members that I have! *sm*

Yes, my pets are closer to me than some of my family members. I treat my dog like my baby brother, he's just so cute.

These I do, and they do provide a service,,they will not live here and loaf around,,they have to provide some kind of service,,guard the house, guard the kids, attact on command, keep out the bad people,,protect and serve,,,,,I wil provide them with the best food, best vet care, roof over their heads, always groomed, take them on trips,,,the whole package,,but they will earn their keep,,,,

Yes he's like a child to me. His mama abandoned him when he was 2 weeks old (runt) So I took him home raised him (he plays fetch) And he is 3 times larger than his siblings now. 15lbs will be 3yr old next month...

Absolutely. I saw this quote someplace and it made sense to me; "acquiring a dog is the closest thing that a person will ever have to choose a relative". That is true.

I sure do...I have raised my pit bull Max since he was two weeks old, his mom stopped feeding the litter, so I took one. He is now 6 years old, and the best dog ever.
