Its been over 12 years now. Its the longest running anime series ever. It is still one of the most popular game series (and one of the longest running) and it has one of the most well-known characters across America, Pikachue (sorry for my spelling). But how? How is it possible for an anime to run this long? I don't know, maybe I'll never know.

Really? I'm famous?!! Yes, I'm obsessed with myself too.
It's FUUUUUUNNNNNNN to play with me! I'm the cutest one against all, but my friend Jigglypuff doesn't really agree.
The movie is nice and the game is fun. What else?
Well, actually there are at least 10 pokemon games at it takes about 25-50 hours to complete each. It's sort of hard, but fun! So play with THE ONE AND THE ONLY...Pikachu! (that's me)

Everyone loves repetitive/mindless tasks to occupy their mind. Whether it's Spider Solitaire, Poke'mon, etc.

There will always be little kids and those who watch/play them for the nostalgic value - like Nickelodeon. It might not have ALL the same fans but it still maintains the fanbase with the upcoming youth. ^^

I think that its more the game than the anime. My brother bought it...and it got addictive, so after about seven or so years, I've started playing again.
