Do you feel superior to the Canadians?
Just curious.
Does affordable health care make a nation "inferior"?
Canada has more than "virtually zero" members in its Armed Forces - please be more specicfic as to what America "gives" the Canadian military.
The Canadian dollar is nearly on par with the U.S. dollar - is that a sign of a "crumbling" and "inferior" economy?
Canada has a growing population, do you care to give some evidence to show that it is "stagnated" and "inferior"?
With all your unsupported claims - plus much more than that - I would like to know if the Americans feel superior to the Canadians.
What is it like living in a nation that has its own problems with health care, the military, the economy, and immigration?

no person pronounced the certainty that Canada is a MONARCHY, no longer a republic. the pinnacle of State is Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada. The Governor-universal represents her. in the time of the yankee conflict for Independence 20-25 of the white colonials sided with the King, approximately 500,000. 10% went to Canada and a few 15,000 others went to the united kingdom or the Caribbean. some 12,000 blacks have been taken the two as slaves or freed. people who went to Canada have been called Loyalists or the KIng's dependable people. yet another 30,000 immigrated from the States to Ontario in the time of the 1790s and early 1800s. The earliest settlers in Nova Scotia have been 8000 New Englanders who went there interior the 1750s and 60s to swap the ousted French settlers or Cajuns who have been settled interior the 13 southern colonies or went to Lousiana. till approximately 1830 English-conversing Canada had a pronounced American style because of the origins of the inhabitants and formerly great scale immigration from Britain and eire commencing approximately 1820 presented a greater 'British' experience. it is why Canadians and people esp. interior the top American states are so comparable.

WOW! As if I don't get enough Canadian-bashing at work from my American employer. In Canada, no less. I'm laughing my head off at the moment and am not taking serious offense at your question.
Ummm ... no. Not this Canadian.
Take a really good look at your points, then look at where the US really is (take some back roads and do some research). Do the same in Canada. Then get back to me.

I think most Canadian like me feel this is the best place to live. Where do you get your information? Our socialized health care is the envy of the most of the world. Are military is rebuilding now. For decades we were known as the peace keepers of the world. We are talking a lead role in fighting in southern Afghanistan. Our economy is among the best in the G8. Our population growth is coming though immigration.

Canada has no enemies. Why do they need a huge military?
They also have tremendous natural resources so their future looks pretty bright.
They are loved in the world.
Health care for everybody has a lot of strong points.
Their dollar has strenghtened in comparison to our dollar.
Global warming makes their climate more attractive.
Canada is looking pretty good with lots of water, timber, land, and oil.
Healthy public by and large.

Canadians have always been tough. Where are the facts that support your claims. If their economy is so bad. Why do the Canadians stay up there in there and don't come down here we have a open door policy with Canada if it really was so bad up there Then they would all be down here. wouldn't they.

Canada has been voted best country to live in for many years, cities like Vancouver have been very high on the quality of life list for many years and we constantly poke fun at America's shortcomings... I would say "what shadow?"

Aah, yes. I have lived in Canada and I can say with all honesty: Yes, Canadians feel inferior, jealous, and bitter towards Americans. Some are actually quite rude. A middle age church lady said bitterly upon meeting me "I can't believe they let another American into the country!" I just didn't say anything.
On the other hand, a younger guy friend told me in confidence that although Canadians like to make fun of Americans (apparently out of jealousy) They realize that America has their back if they ever fell into trouble.
So there you have it. and yes their military is pathetic compared to ours.
I would not say the economy is crumbling but I would call it weak. Everything is so damn expensive (in our dollars that is) yet their dollars are struggling to keep up with ours. unless they lower prices to increase spending there will continue to be a problem.
One more thing, I noticed they don't like to take risks so much. There is a lot of apathy.
There are some naturally beautiful places there. Thats all.
