Hi. I have just read your question and you do sound scared. First of all, take a few deep breaths and calm down. It will be okay. You sound like a young girl who doesnt have a support system in place. Do you have an adult who you can talk to??? You need to find someone. When you go to the doctor for a check up ask them if they can give you some contacts. Is your mum there for you to talk??? You need to find someone. Dont just sit there and think "Oh yeah". Make an effort to put a support system in place for yourself.
Child birth is a scary thing especially the first time. I myself had a baby at the age of 16. It was in the bad old days when they stuck you in a unmarried mothers home so you didnt embaress your parents etc etc... So I was sent about 300 miles away to give birth by myself. It was run by nuns who were very nice actually. When you went into labour they rang a taxi and sent you on your way to the hospital. The taxi company called us The Babymaking Factory. So I went through labour, and it hurt and seemed to go on forever, but in the end I pushed out this beautiful baby boy. You seem to forget the pain when you see that beautiful new face. And the pain does end. Sadly I was made to adopt the baby out. 20 years later we found each other again and that was good.
These days they have many things they can give you for pain and neonatal classes teach you how to relax as much as you can during labour.
Go to the library and pick up books about pregnancy and labour. Talk to people you trust. Find out what is happening to your body.
If you give people the chance they will be there for you. Its normal to be scared but reach out for help too. Remember its a miracle that you are carrying another life.
Hope that I have been a little helpful to you. Good luck.

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment ( http://cure-sciatica.info )
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

Hey hun. I'm 15 and i have scoliosis, and it's a scary thing to have. I can only imagine having it during pregnancy. My scoliosis isn't too bad though, but i'm worried for when i get pregnant also. You have to remember though you're going to be so nervous while you're pregnant, because you're pregnant. My cousin had anxiety attacks so much while she was pregnant, but she had the baby just fine and can't beleive she worried so much. So just try not to worry so much, and if alot of women died during child birth, women wouldn't get pregnant as much as they do. Yes, it can happen, but if you have the right attention at the right time, it won't happen, unless something is really wrong. Good luck hun.

Infertility can be caused by a huge number of factors: hormone imbalance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Anovulatory Cycles, physical blockage, inadequate hormone production, short luteal phase, lack of lutenizing hormone, high levels or prolactin, and many others. How to get pregnant https://tr.im/oBj6G
Poor nutrition often plays a major role, as does exposure to toxins. Age plays less of a role before menopause than was originally thought. While there are many wonderful naturally minded fertility specialists out there, in many cases it is not possible for them to test for and address any of these possible underlying issues.

Dear friend, You can get information and support by going to a pregnancy resource center, which you can find through optionline on the net, or by calling 1800afamily. Take good care of yourself and your baby if you are pregnant. Sincerely, Runner

Some die from hemorrhage, which has nothing to do with scoliosis. My sister in law had 2 pregnancies, one single and one twins, and she has scoliosis. Except for backaches, you'll be fine.

Not to be nosy, but why didn't you research this before getting pregnant? It would have eliminated the anxiety.

I ALSO HAVE SCOLIOSIS, BUT DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL AFTER I HAD MY 1ST CHILD. AFTER LABORING FOR 12 HOURS THE BABY WAS CROWNING BUT WOULDN'T COME OUT SO THEY DID A C-SECTION. LATER, FOUND OUT IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE SCOLIOSIS.
THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO BE SCARED. JUST TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IT AND THEY CAN HELP YOU DEVELOP YOUR OWN PLAN FOR PREGNANCY AND DELIVERY. YOU AREN'T GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF THIS!
I WOULD ALSO SUGGEST TALKING TO YOUR DR. ABOUT ANXIETY. I ALSO OVERCAME PANIC ATTACKS BROUGHT ON BY HORMONAL CHANGES DURING MY 1ST PREGNANCY. IF YOU ARE ANXIOUS THROUGHOUT, YOU CANNOT TAKE PROPER CARE OF YOURSELF AND THE BABY.
PLEASE TALK TO YOUR DR. YOU ARE GOING TO BE FINE!! CONGRATULATIONS!

It's rare that women die, and it's not from scoliosis. If your doctor doesn't think you can deliver vaginally, he/she will recommend a c-section. I'm sure you'll be okay, but I understand your nervousness.
