is my clown fish going to have babies?

My dad has this clown fish is his saltwater tank and our clown fish always hides in the corner and takes a pepple off of the bottom of the tank and carries it to the corner.
This has been happening for about a month and a half but hasn't been laying any eggs
Is my fish going to lay eggs or is it doing something else?

That's an odd behavior, but I don't think it's related to egglaying. They usually lay the eggs on a larger rock, and they particulatly like to put them around the base of an anemone. Not sure what he is trying to do though.

And unless there's a second clown, any eggs laid won't be fertile.
