1. Divide to get the percent:
3/100=.03%

2. First convert 3 1/3 to an improper fraction, which is 10/3. Now you can multiply. The numerator is 10x1, which is 10. The denominator is 3x2, which is 6. Now the fraction you have is 10/6. Reduce to get 5/3, which is also equal to 1 2/3.

3. 33 1/3% is equal to 33.33/100

4. 87 1/2% is equal to 87.5/100

5. It's 18/50. So the answer is .36 or 36%.

If you had a number x. x/100 = x%

3/100 = 3%

Another example would be

6/100 = 6%

Percentages are represented as numbers divided by 100.
