Sims2 for PC "turn ons/offs" ??

is there a way to change the turn ons and turn offs even after already creating the sim? (i found out i selected the wrong ones....)

i have Sims2 Pets and Nightlife expansion packs

I can't remember it's name, but your sim needs so many reward points earned from the wants/fears. If your sim earned enough, you can get that item, but they must be in a very good mood in order to use it, otherwise they will want to make grilled cheese for the rest of their natural sim life.
