Like their normal voice is what I'd consider shouting the entire time. What gives? I dont mean to sound racist but I have noticed this alot in the african american community

Dear American Native,
I said I am not intending to be racist nad I really mean it. I just remember being in trade school (Im 21) and hearing the conversation in the back of the bus (as I was in the front) like it was going on next to me. Were they african american? Yes. Do I have anything against them? No. So perhaps you should get your facts straight before you go around throwing accusations. As for me Im more of a mutt. mix of a few ethnicities (25% cherokee as a matter of fact.well so I am told). So please think before you speak.

your question was decent until you pointed out a race which made your question ignorant. there are loud people of all races I know a white lady that is so loud whenever i speak with her over the phone i have to turn the volume down to very low but she cant help it because she is deaf in her left ear. There are loud asians, loud latinos, loud indians- GET REAL! (now i am being loud) you are what? 13, grow up - and when you do get rid of the racist, stereotypical behavior. you may be in danger and the person that saves your life might be that loud African American yelling HELP for you when you cant for yourself.

did you think before you posted this question? I am just saying I dont think you should have pointed out a race thats all. this is my opinion, just like that is yours. we both have the rights to our opinions. if you cant take the answers you will get dont ask any questions.

PS - you are not trying hard enough, because you are coming off as racist, so try again or dont try at all. Dont point out another race in a negative way if you dont want to appear racist.

Sometimes people have hearing problems others want attention no matter how they get it. Your question is a bit racist I see this behavior everywhere in every race. People of color are very expressive and emotional. If that offends you try to avoid being around lively people.
Peace out!

From what I can see it seems to come from how big peoples groups of friends are. If someone is used to hanging out with like 20 other people most of the time they are naturally gonna speak louder than someone who usually hangs around 5 people.

Seems to be the same with people from bigger famlilies

Most people talk according to their level of hearing. If their hearing is poor, their speech will usually be louder. Bone density can affect hearing, thus also the speech. That is why you don`t sound right when you hear yourself on a recorder. Your hearing your voice as others hear you, not your natural reverbation of your vocal chords through your bones.

Hey Guy,
My precious little daughter in law is very loud. she and my son are professional cheerleader instructors and she has to shout at the kids a lot. I attribute it to that but it is very annoying especially when talking to her on the phone. I'm not even sure that she realizes how loud she is.

Emotionally charged people and people with little to say might feel volume balances out the lack of articulation .

Some people could care less about everyone around them...THEIR conversation or statement is the most important thing going on. Oh, and it's not racist...it's the truth.
