This is, of course, the dream of all kite eating trees since their ability to grasp the kite is somewhat limited. Charlie Brown continues to fly the kite in the general vicinity of the kite eating tree for the same reason that he continues to try and kick the football when lucy holds it.

B) Charlie brown is the lovable loser we can all relate to on some level, despite his best efforts nothing he did ever went right!! and we have all felt like that at some point in our lives.
The only thing that went right for him was that he did eventually win a baseball game, but he never got to kiss the red headed girl, sort of a metaphor for life you live your life and chase your dreams and sometimes those dreams don't work out, But you never quit, you keep going on, and that is what charlie brown did.
