About the only other species I know of that deliberately changes its appearance are several types of so-called "Decorator" crabs. They actually pick algae and other things in the ocean, and place them on their carapaces. This increases their survival (presumably, it acts as some kind of camouflage.

maximum creatures stay in aspects the place they're delicate. once you're a polar undergo then you definately already have a fur coat and once you're a whale you have already got blubber in decision to a drysuit. clothing exists because of the fact human beings tried to enhance previous the tiny aspects with suited climates. God help us all if the whales ever invent opposite scuba equipment and flow onto dry land. even with the undeniable fact that, given their loss of opposable thumbs i could say we are secure right this moment.

I suspect others might if they had the opposable thumbs to put them on (never mind the ability to make clothes). Warmth is something animals will always look for; consider the macaque of Japan, aka the snow monkeys. They hop in the hot springs in the middle of winter to warm up, and look quite relaxed in the process.

yes, humans are the only species on the Earth that cover themselves because humans are ashamed and embarassed of themselves... in other terms "the story of Adam and Eve". If that had never happened, everyone would be wearing what mother nature gave them. animals just aren't ashamed of themselves because for most animals, their skin/fur/scales/etc. are part of their survival..... so yes. lol
hope I could answer your question!
