In about a year or so, I will be moving to Canada. I have had my ferret for about 8 months now, and I want to take him with me when I move. Anyone know what I would need to do to get him there? (i.e shots, paperwork, etc.) ?

If you are coming from the states all you need is a signed certificate of vaccination from your vet dated less then one year. Other countries need an import permit. This is the Canadian government site which has the info you need.

Yeah get all the shots up to date check with the vet you can get a health certificate saying their safe for travel. I think its good for 1 week. also start checking with Canada which province that matters. they may need to quarantine it for a period of time. good for you on starting now. below is the link to help you. once there scroll down to pets across the border, select guinea pigs, gerbils, other rodents.
