Good looks is a bonus to a charismatic personality. A good personality will win over knowledge 95 percent of the time. It is human nature to want to be surrounded by people who make you feel good thus going into an interview and utilizing your charismatic personality is going to get you a job over the person who has experience but no personality.
Making people laugh is a good way to get a job but don't be a stand up comedian. Being positive and outgoing will also win over experience. If you are positive, make people feel good, and have experience you are a shoe in.
I have gotten jobs and special treatment because of my personality. I don't consider this cheating. I consider it using my assets. Good luck!!!!
