I was in a class that I had to take for work.There were about 40 people in the class ages 20-60 years of age . The Instructer asked if anyone ever smoked weed ,and I was the only one who raised their hand. I don't use it anymore and never will again. I've never been much on lying and never will . If asked this question in a group of your peers what would your answer be? By the way I wasn't the only person in the class that used to get high, I knew of at least 4 others for sure.

I'd be honest, I did it and I'm not ashamed of it, not many haven't tried it at least once. Don't you wonder why they won't admit that but have no problem admitting to getting drunk every Friday and Saturday night?

wow im amazed so far nobody has said ''it helps to burn the joint more evenly'' basically weed isnt the greatest for catching and retaining flame, tobacco however is. people mix them for many reasons 1)to bulk it up 2) to not just be smoking a pure weed joint (gets you very f*cked) 3) to help it burn evenly when your smoking weed by itself you have to relight it alot (maybe experts dont but your average stoner will) also it gives it a tastier taste lol like weed by itself is pretty damn strong and can be quite nauseating for some, the tobacco helps mask it. and hey there is nothing wrong with smoking weed, honestly which is worse drinking litres of beer or shots of high content alcohol OR a joint that does you for a good few hours if not the night. like its your choice but the media have this image that weed is worse then smoking or drinking. when i drink i ramble when i smoke i just bum around listening to music and thinking. when i mix them its bad bad bad did it once never again haha i dont even remember

I'd say be truthful, but let them know how deticated you are to quitting. By the way, I promise you 3/4 of anyone between 40 and 60 have at least tried weed. Most of them were probably lying. I do admire you for quitting though. Good luck.
I've never smoked weed and never plan to. I'm not against it, I just don't want to have anything to do with it.

I used to use it a lot. Now once in a blue moon but I don't believe it should be illegal and I'm not afraid to admit how I feel or that I've used before. I might add I live in a country that isn't run by Nazi freaks so we actually can express our opinions here without the DEA tapping our phones.

I've never smoked weed. People say you have to in order to be 'rock n roll!' or whatever, but I never have, and never will. I know a lot of people, some that are my friends, that smoke, and some of them want me to, but I don't. Life is too stressful without weed.
And if I did smoke, I probably wouldn't admit it until after I was over it.

I'd say a lot of the people in your class were hiding the truth ... kudos to you, for telling the truth. I used to smoke a bit too, but, I quit when I got married and was planning to start a family ... don't really miss it, my kids make me laugh more than weed ever did!! :)

Estimates say that 1 out of 3 people have smoked or do smoke marijuana. You may have been being honest, but 1/3 of your class was omitting the truth.

i would have raised my hand(still do..30 yrs. now) and challenged some others in a room of 40 people to "keep it real, folks"...i would be wiling to say given the age group and 40 people.........at least 30 have tried it or still smoke.

Yup. Pretty much everybody has tried weed at sometime in their life. It's really not that bad (it's no worse for you than smoking) so I dont think people should be ashamed that they did weed when they were in their teens or early 20's.

well..snot exactlly LYING by not raising your hand... so don't criticize people who want to be discreet or private about their lives! I have the same problem with impulsiveness as YOU DO! BUT... did you know, that the truth does NOT always have to be told, and sometimes in doing it.. you actually can HURT other people? so, das it! deal wit it...hehe
