I try to think of all the positive things in my life and how much better off I am today then I used to be. Focus on what you have to be grateful for. The flowers, the fact that you are alive and breathing today, the sky, the sun, the song of a bird, etc... you get the idea, don't you? Pray and thank the creator for all that you have and be grateful. __()__ hugs to you.......

I play blues on my guitar and somehow in the cosmic balance of things they cancel each other out. I'm not sure how that works but it does.

For a long time, I've been lucky that way. I only let the hurt go down so deep and then I tell myself to deal with it. But you can't say no" to negative emotions; you have to say yes--go with them, get your mind off, defuse them--then deal with them later.
So, I name what I'm feeling, and then I play the piano. You know, sad songs; the concentration--and the emotions I arouse get me back to myself.

I write, listen to music, talk to my boyfriend or best friend. And just wait for it to pass. A little chocolate never hurts either. lol
