...Sorry I am posting this question in here, but no one in the other categories will answer it....

....If I sign a lease to an apartment and halfway through my lease someone wants to move in with me, do they then have to sign the lease as well....? How does that work?

If you rent from a company, this person will have to fill out forms in your leasing office. Your rental agent can answer those questions for you. If you try to move someone in "unannounced", you could be in violation of your lease and risk eviction especially if you live in a complex with nosy neighbors.

Depends on what the lease stipulates about sub-letting but if they want to move in with you and share costs I can't see any big deal, you remain responsible that's all....unless it states you can be only occupant ,which is rare..hope this helps ♥

they should. my downstairs neighbors just invited the brother, his wife, and their 3 kids to live with them and I am working hard on getting them kicked out since they really are not supposed to be there.
Talk to your landlord about the person moving in before they do- it's his apartment when it all comes down to it.

I would think that would be your best bet.
But really it's something you would need to ask your landloard about.
