a fight with you mom and it got so bad ( no hitting or violence just words) that she just needed to drive away for a while.

no, but i have with my dad, and i tried to drive off, but he made it so my truck wouldn't start!
he fixed it later though, he said he would rather have me be mad at him than dead!

When I was a teen, my mother and I always got into HUGE fights...to the point of hitting sometimes.

my mom and i got into those kind of fights when i was a teen. she would leave and after and hour or when she calmed down she would come home and cry hug me and say she was sorry.

Yes, but it doesn't happen very often and it hasn't happened for a long time. My parents and I have gotten much better about talking about our conflicts.

No I never did. I'd stop and remember that she was my mother, I would go to my room ( slamming the door of course ).
