I mean Rush are native Canadians too. I understand the not liking Nickelback, as well as 3 Days Grace. I could see where Barenaked Ladies may not be a favorite... But Rush?
Why is Matthew Good the only one that is stood behind, but not Rush?

I believe that the most popular bands tend to be hated by Canadians because of the "CanCon" law (aka the Canadian Content). A certain percentage of radio and television media has to be Canadian based. Thus popular bands like Rush and Nickelback, BNL and the Tragically Hip are mainstays on the radio. They have been played safely for years so they are continually played whenever there are no new Canadian artists that are making waves in the music industry. As a result, people begin to dislike such bands because of being overplayed.

Check around at Goodwill, or any flea market, or second hand store. If you have any used record stores in your area call them and ask if they have any. It's really hard to find vinyl in good condition though. Ebay is usually your best bet, since they use a grading system and have a bigger variety. Look through the Buy It Now option and see if there's anything there. That way you don't have to wait on an auction.
