I use both but very rarely..
I use 'hate' when I really really really really really as in REALLY dislike something... I can't remember I use 'hate' as in 'I hate somebody.'

Have a wonderful day.. :-)

Depends on what I'm talking about. While hate is a strong word, and it's meaning often gets lost, dislike can sound so awkward.

Dislike is what I use. Hate is a very harsh word.

I prefer saying dislike. Hate is sometimes too harsh of a description. I usually use it when I don't like something or someones behavior.

You have a great night too.

Very rarely i will use the word hate. I use it when i am thinking of people who are guilty of child abuse.

I use dislike when it is in relation with food i do not like ! or bad mannered people or vain people.

Dislike is less harsh .

I don't say hate...because in the Bible it says that to hate is as bad as to want to murder...and to murder is as bad as murdering itself. So to really truly hate is to want dead, and thats a sin...and I don't intentionally sin. So yes, I use the word dislike. Sometimes I say strongly dislike with the white hot passion of 10,000 burning suns.
