I know what you're going through. I've been "gifted" with a large chest since about second grade as well. Ask your mom, but let her know that you're not comfortable with her telling your dad (although it's natural for a parent to share info with their spouse). If your breasts are still growing, you need the proper support so you won't end up with back problems. Don't worry about being embarressed. It's natural for every girl to go through it.

Hi,
You can get a good bra (that's not a training bra) without it necessarily being padded. If you'd like a little more support, maybe try an underwire.

I think you should suggest to your Mom that the two of you take an afternoon and go shopping, try some things on, and see what feels most comfortable on you. If you feel awkward about your father knowing, maybe you could share those feelings with her and she would keep it between you two!

Also, don't ever forget to just be happy with the body you have, even if it is maturing faster than some other girl's bodies in your class. Just hold your head high and be confident!

Best of luck.

Why do you want a padded bra if you are uncomfortable with the size of your breasts? That will only make them look bigger. You probably do need an adult size bra, and maybe even an underwire bra if you are a c-cup or bigger. maybe you should ask your sister to take you shopping if you are uncomfortable talking to your mom. Have someone at the store measure you so you get one that fits properly. ad don't be embarassed. it is better to now that you need one than to be one of those people in high school whi do need one but no one seems to have told them yet. Good luck!

Well a padded bra is just going to make you look bigger. I am afraid you are going to have to tell you Mom about this since you do not have any money to buy a bra. Your Mom knows you wear a bra so does she and your sister this is not new news. I am pretty sure your Dad already knows this information this is not news to him either.

So now you know everybody knows this already now it is just telling them that you are not happy with the bra you have your Mom I mean. I promise your Dad is not going to say anything most men want the Moms to handle the girl stuff he would probalby just die if he had to do it so don't be scared to tell your Mom.

Trust me your Mom had to wear training bras herself and go to something else later and she knows that you will to.

If you need a bra, wear one. But there is no point in wearing a bra with alot of padding in it. You've got your whole life to act like an adult. Be a kid while you still can! I'm 20 and married and I still don't wear padded bras!

You don't need a padded bra; they are designed to make you look bigger.
You need a bra with supportive cups in it , like the 'grownups' wear. Get one that's lined, so nipples don't show.
Get your older sis to help you measure you for bra size.
If your parents don't think you need a support bra, ...jump up and down!
P.S. never put a bra in the dryer - the cups and liner or padding shrink unevenly, making it lumpy.

I think it's time to tell your mom. I'm 13 and I'm so small that I don't even need to wear a training bra =( You're lucky! Just tell your mom. You have to sooner or later. And now's the time!

if you have one, get more. they aren't that expensive and they give you much more support. If you are uncomfortable about your size, try a sports bra instead. They are comfortable and they give more support than training bras. hope this helped! =]]
