Adding another computer, what exactly do I need to connect to the internet? Do I just get another adaptor and I'm good to go?

In most cases, you would be good to go. If your wireless card does not detect the name of the network (SSID) automatically, then you would need to find that information from within your router and manually input it into the adapter. Depending on how your network is setup, you may also need the WEP encryption key. This can also be found inside the router.

You get the adapter to connect to your other computer. And boom it's online. through the router. You just need to have the router hooked up to a modem to dial out.

You need to get a wireless usb adapter card for a desktop or a regular pcmcia adapter card for a laptop. Then you need to go to the static ip address issued for you router and add the computor to your network.
