Do you have to have armpit hair to start you period?

Cause I have all the sytoms of getting my period soon except for armpit hair I have pubic air though.

When did your breasts or nipples start developing? Usually your menses [ period ] starts about two years after that.
Armpit hair varies a lot - appreciate your nice smooth pits while you can.

No, you don't have too, in fact, 19% of girls don't! (I read it in a magazine, not sure if it's true) I saw your other question. You might get your period soon. Hope this helped!
