Okay so my uncle died Jan 26th 2001 and I have a girl but am hoping for a boy sometime in the next couple of years. I wanted to name him after my uncle whose name was Joseph Charles. So what do you think of this:
Zachary Charles?
And maybe if I have another girl:
Charlene Rose? Because if you remove the last NE and add an S you get Charles.
My grandma also just passed May 28th 2007 her name was Thelma Christine and I thought about for a girl:
Christine Rose?
But I don't know how I'd get a boy name out of Christine, any ideas?

Christopher or Christian are variations of a masculine version of Christine.
btw, Zachary Charles sounds nice.

You could always name a girl Charlie. I like Zachary Charles. And you could put Christine as a middle name with pretty much any first name. I'm not crazy about Christine Rose.

I think it's a wonderful idea to name the baby after a loved one, and both names are very nice. Kristine is an updated spelling of Christine and is another option. Charlene and Charlotte are both feminine versions of Charles.
As others have pointed out, Christopher or Christian would work for a boy. I also like these names because they are not names that every other kid on the block will have, like Madison or Taylor.

You can also do Johannah Chritina orJolie Christine, you can name you next girl after each

I love the idea you came up if it MIGHT be a girl. Charlene / Charles that is so neat how you thought that up. Im bad with names Im trying to think of a Boy name since Im 25weeks pregnant and cant come up with anything. I also like the name Zachary Charles I've always like the name Zachary. I knew acouple friends in school with that name.
