I think that you should have gotten more hazardous duty and family separation pay. I think that you should have gotten more base pay and BAH when back at home. I think that you should get all of the free and timely medical care that you need because of any injury that resulted from your deployment. I think that you deserve respect for doing what many people who support this war are not willing to do. I think that you should get whatever assistance is necessary to get you a good job in the civilian world.
I don't think that we should be in Iraq. I do think that we should support those who are there and those who have returned.
So, for all of you who are reading this, I ask you to do your part. Whether you believe that we should be in Iraq or not is beside the point. Find a service member to write to and send care packages (MilitaryPenPalsOnline.com has a listing of websites to match you with a service member). If you live near a training base see if there is a program to invite service members to your home for a holiday meal.
We might disagree about things if we were to meet, maybe even dislike each other. I don't know you personally so I can't say. Even so, you do have my respect.

I congratulate you for serving, and for coming home I hope safely and soundly. You are to be commended and we are proud of the ones like you choose to serve. I wish they would do the right thing and bring everyone home but until the US gets a new president with some sense I don't see that happening. Glad you are home!

I think that Vets are Great!!! I'm all for the military and the people you give their lives for us and the other people who need help. I'm not for war! But the people who do the things we can't do I give my thanks to. We need more people like you. Good luck in your life!!!

i thank you and think you did what you had to do,no matter what people say or think,you honored your job and your commitment to this country and i know how hard that was for you and i for one appreciate and respect you for that,never doubt yourself,you did what you were trained for and as an american i am grateful to you,thank you!!!
