If they got their tax cuts, how would they be able to afford their corporate welfare...like walmart's 10 year tax exemption when they open a new store in any comunity, or any other corporation's hundreds of thousands in tax bonuses awarded by states when they add 10-20 jobs, that they were going to add anyway??

I'm confused.....I thought the Republicans made all the Money and were Rich? Now you are telling me it's the Blue States who are Rich? Does that mean that the Democrats have all the money? And they are the one's getting all the Tax Breaks for the Rich??? Wow, I guess that ruins the "Bush is only for the Rich" argument for you now dosn't it? I mean now your telling us that all the BIG CORPORATIONS are Blue Staters.
However, as in your prior question, You Blue Staters left, the people who RUN those companies would go to the Red States.....And then what would you have.
Rome had about the same thing in the Mid 300's AD. The Middle class and upper middle class, along with the Clergy began to leave Rome for the Eastern Roman Empire in Constatinople. Leaving the Ultra Rich and the lower non-working classes behind in Rome. they felt they were to heavily taxed. Within 50 years Rome fell, and the Middle class along with the Clergy continued to flourish as the Byzantine Empire for another 1000 years. So, please go. We wil be fine. Smell ya' later...

you seem to think that all economic activity has occurred in some "blue state" vaccum.

does the fact that not all successful business-persons, or people in general from "blue states are liberal mean anything to you?

how about the fact that my state, California, has been governed by conservatives for long spans of time; does this figure into your argument?

does the fact that "blue state" and "red state" are made up terms given by the media, that have no bearing on anything, especially the vast majority of people who call themselve independents, come in to play?

think this through a little more.

Even if you don't have as much money, you still don't want to see it wasted. And most money comes from Democratic states, but from the minority Republican citizens of those states.

Because they are not educated on the facts. They want California out of the Union,,because it's a "far left hippie state" according to them but Cali has the 4th strongest economy in the world. They don't think too far,,,that probably explains why they elected Bush twice.
