because i just don't understand why some users have to be harsh (as in giving harsh answers.) Or may be i should quit Y!A?

Sarcasm doesn't work well when written down unless the recipient gets that type of humor. It can definitely come across as harsh. Now if someone calls you stupid or an idiot that's a horse of a different color.

Sometimes because a joke or well meaning sarcasm can sometimes come across as harsh without body language clues and tone of voice.
